Often times, many people are confused with marketing and advertising. While both are important, these two have many differences. Being aware of the difference between marketing and advertising can put a company on the trail to significant growth. Basically, advertising is a paid and non-personal statement of a credible message by a sponsor, usually celebrities or known personalities with the goal to promote products and services to potential and existing customers whereas marketing is a systematic way of planning, controlling and implementing of product or service mix to bring sellers and buyers at a mutual exchange. Though these two are totally different, both meet at a boundary where business owners and market players should be well versed of. Marketing and advertising both play a big role in the success of a company. Owners should be aware that with persuasive advertising and effective marketing strategies, the products and/or services provided by the company will definitely be recognized by many.
